In which ya girl is officially "on deadline".
On deadline. That’s a crazy thing I didn’t think I’d get to say for a while. And though the deadline is mostly self-inflicted, I’m no less serious about meeting it head-on.
For those keeping track, here is (roughly) what the next few months look like for me:
March & April — Finish drafting The Beast’s Bargain and continue posting new episodes on Kindle Vella.
May — Edits and fine tuning. Polish her up! Format it to look like a book!
June — Final admin details, preparing for the book’s release and trying not to melt into a puddle in the interim.
July — THE BEAST’S BARGAIN RELEASES!!! (Typing that out makes me want to puke but in a good way? Like I’m so excited I could throw up?)
And then, here’s an assortment of things that I’m not sure where they fit into the timeline, but am nonetheless excited for: cover reveal (y’all ain’t ready to see what Amira has been cooking up), pre-orders, ARC readers… promo materials? Giveaways?
Anyway, I could not be more excited (and vaguely nauseous), and if you’re reading this that means you’re also pretty excited, and I cannot emphasize how unbelievably cool it is to have people counting down the release of The Beast’s Bargain with me.
More details to come, but, for now, thank you for being here. My heart is so full.
